SCOUT DAY!

Every year, AVB has a scrimmage with another semi-pro team from another league. Last year it was Saxonburg of the Butler Eagle League.(if you scroll down you can see the article about the game).

Each team puts on a talent showcase for you the scouts to see. Along with player profiles and any other information needed. It is a great way to see multiple players you may be looking at one time. Last year we had great support and representation from the Atlanta Braves, Milwakee Brewers, and Pittsburgh Pirates. We also had many local college coaches attend as well.

Allegheny Valley Baseball goes above and beyond to find the ultimate athletes. AVB is not your typical Federation League team. AVB conducts wide open tryouts each year to attract the season's best players; Our tryouts are intensive and in depth. Each potential AVB player is rated through a series of tests.
