CAREER HIGHLIGHTS :

2007 was Nate’s second season with AVB. Nate played college baseball at IUP (1996-1999) where he earned all conference honors. After college he signed as a free agent with the Seattle Mariners but was released the last day of spring training. However he continued to play that season in the Frontier League with the Canton Crocodiles and the following year (2001) he played in the Texas-Louisiana League with the Alexandria Aces. Since then he has been playing competitive baseball all around the Pittsburgh area. He has never lost sight of his dream to play Major League Baseball. Currently he is a Phys. Ed. teacher and coaches North Hills High School varsity baseball. Nate’s four-seam fastball tops out at 95 MPH, and his two-seam fastball has great movement.
