AVB Gives To Miracle League

On May 17th, 2008, AVB donated a portion of the proceeds from a fundraiser to the Miracle League of Southwestern Pennsylvania (MLSWPA), an organization that “…is focused on building a [baseball] field of dreams for all disabled children in Southwestern Pennsylvania.” Presenting a check for $500 to Michael T. Sherry (second from left), president of the MLSWPA, were (from right): Jason Raker, former pitcher for the Cleveland Indians and Kansas City Royals; Kevin P. Giza, president and head coach of AVB; and Larry Neidig, III, vice president and assistant coach of AVB.people
