THE MIRACLE LEAGUE OF SOUTHWESTERN PA

The Miracle League of Southwestern Pennsylvania (MLSWPA) was formed in January 2007, the MLSWPA is dedicated to providing the opportunity for children with physical and mental disabilities to play organized baseball.

"The MLSWPA is focused on building a field of dreams for all disabled children in Southwestern Pennsylvania. We cannot change or cure the medical issues life has dealt disabled children. What we can do is provide them with an opportunity to experience the joy and benefits that come from playing our National pastime—baseball."

THE JOSH GIBSON FOUNDATION

The Josh Gibson Foundation is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation which was established in 1994. It is the goal of the Foundation to establish a history and learning center in Homestead, PA to reach out to the families and youth of the community on which Josh Gibson left his mark.

Currently, the education programs are being conducted within the City of Pittsburgh through partnerships with PNC Bank, The Pittsburgh Pirates, The City of Pittsburgh Housing Authority, Mercy Health System, and other regional partners.

THE John Challis Courage for Life Foundation

We aspire to be a foundation that can provide and enable high school athletes with a sporting experience of their choice and to be the MySpace of Support Community for Teens (their family and friends) with Life Threatening Illnesses. John Challis has taught us all to live life to the fullest, make every day count and when adversity comes knocking be strong, positive and find a way to win.
